Get to know the Role:

• As a Venture Development Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will be part of a regional team to identify and launch new ventures from zero to one, within Grab and/ or scale up an existing venture from one to ten

• This role is specifically for GrabFresh, we are looking for someone to play a pivotal role in scaling this new venture up rapidly
  

The day-to-day activities:

• Develop a grocery supply chain and operations strategy and identify the best way to build it at rocket speed

• Source logistics/ distribution partners and vendors, negotiate terms

• Set up/ manage distribution/ processing centers/ warehouses if needed

• Manage picking/ delivery ops and fleet

• Monitor supply chain performance to ensure high product quality

• Set up new operations/ business processes

• Hire new team members as necessary

• Work with other internal Grab functions to source resources & support

• Most ventures will require significant travel within ASEAN
  

The must haves:

• 5-7 years expertise in grocery supply chain operations (online or offline) is a must- preferably with deep experience in distribution, logistics and/or warehouse management

• Working experience in a startup or early stage tech company is a plus

• Previous experience managing teams is a plus

• Ability to speak Chinese and/ or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus

• Must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial drive and desire to achieve goals at speed

• Keen eye for product quality

• Strong personal interest in technology

• Highly driven, flexible and independent

• High level of perseverance and grit

• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia will be advantageous since the role will require communication with indonesian counterparts
