I. RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY

1. Cost Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyze supply chain costs, including logistics, warehousing, and inventory management, to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Prepare regular financial reports and analyses related to supply chain performance and cost management.
• Track and report on key supply chain metrics, providing insights to support decision-making.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Assist in the development and management of the supply chain budget, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals.
• Support the forecasting process, monitoring actual performance against forecasted figures, and providing variance analysis.

3. Operational Support:

• Collaborate with supply chain teams to provide financial guidance on inventory management, vendor negotiations, and logistics planning.
• Participate in cross-functional projects that impact the supply chain, providing financial input and analysis

4. Process Optimization:

• Identify and implement process improvements within the supply chain finance
• function, focusing on cost reduction and efficiency.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial tools and systems that enhance supply chain operations.

II. REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
• Skills
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of driving financial performance and process improvements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software systems
• Experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on supply chain or manufacturing industries.
