The design team follows a simple philosophy: our design must be well thought through, our products must be useful and delight our customers all while enhancing their lives.
Our hungry and humble user experience practitioners come from different parts of the world and have different backgrounds, such as engineering, content strategy, industrial design, architecture, psychology, printing etc. We believe diversity enables innovation.
Get to know the role:
Plan and execute user research and usability testing activities.
Turn data from industry trends, competitive analysis, in-house data and user research into user insights.
Drive customer-centric product strategy through facilitation design workshop and co-creation activities.
Design solutions which solve user problems, achieve business results and leverage relevant technology.
Create user journey maps, wireframes and UI screens to represent the design solutions.
Communicate design solutions effectively to the working team.
Work with Business, Products, Engineering and other relevant teams to ensure the feasibility and quality of design.
Contribute to the Grab Design System such as User Research Portal and workflow optimization
Requirements:
A degree in design, psychology, human-computer interaction, human factors engineering, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in UX or Product Design.
Strong portfolio of UX and design work.
Ability to facilitate ideation and design workshops.
Ability to wireframe using Sketch, or similar software.
Ability to prototype using Invision, Framer, or similar software.
Experience in conducting user research.
Ability to translate research findings into tangible product feature requirements and improvements.
Experience working in a product startup environment.
A decent understanding of native mobile app development.
Strong communication skills.
Proficiency in English plus another Southeast Asian language is a plus.
