Get to know our Team:

Payments marketing is a new team responsible for growing the GrabPay side of the business, which is a big new initiative for Grab. GrabPay handles all cashless transactions for Grab’s 40m riders and 800,000 drivers and is already one of the largest mobile wallets in Southeast Asia. This team will be tasked with growing the GrabPay business as a mobile wallet amongst Singaporeans, making cashless payments safer, more convenient and more rewarding for consumers and merchants on our sunny island

Get to know the Role:

Be a key member of the exciting new payments marketing team, helping to drive forward a critical part of Grab’s overall business. Ideate, manage and operationalise payments marketing campaigns that are aligned with company-wide objectives.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Localise and execute campaigns in line with specific firm-wide objectives and metrics

  • Responsible for driving awareness for GrabPay as a mobile wallet, improving its engagement and ensuring that the consumer’s voice is reflected in its proposition.

  • Work with our marketing analytics and consumer research teams to drive further insight into how consumers are using our GrabPay platform.

  • Monitoring and ensuring consistency across all collaterals and touch points related to the product

  • Write detailed and clear creative briefs, bringing them to life for the creative teams

  • Work with creative agencies and brief in-house creative teams to deliver the insight-based campaigns which are aligned to company targets

  • Ideate, project manage and execute campaigns in a timely manner

  • Ensure adherence to designated marketing budgets across media buys, creative agencies and partnerships/event executions

  • Effectively collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of campaigns

  • Structure presentations slides with coherent key messages for presentation to managers

The must haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top tier university
  • 2-3 years marketing experience at firms with mainly South-East-Asian presence, particularly within a consumer financial business
  • Comfortable with data manipulation to independently run analysis on projects
  • Adequate experience in selecting media buys and knowledge of the media landscape and available media in Singapore
  • Strong footing and has experience in running operations, such as activation events
  • An integrated marketer with excellent understanding of the interplay between online and offline, paid and owned / earned.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to run smaller-scale marketing campaigns independently, complete with monitoring of budgets and campaign tracking
  • Agile and able to work quickly in a hyper growth and competitive market
  • Down-to-earth approach to marketing, with a focus on real human truths and insights
  • Possesses good knowledge of the Singapore consumer segment and their behaviour
