The Singapore Operations team oversees, shapes and grows the business in Grab Singapore. GrabExpress is Grab’s on-demand delivery service which allows users to book a motorcycle or a car to deliver their parcel islandwide. The GrabExpress vertical is housed within the SG Strategic Partnerships & Projects team of Singapore Operation and works closely with the GrabFood team as well as the Partnerships team.
Get to know the Role:
The role is responsible for optimizing day-to-day operations of GE SG with the overall goal of creating a more reliable user experience for senders, riders, and partners. You will also help guardrail the vertical’s financial performance while making strategic decisions and bets to achieve business objectives.
As a Senior Associate, one is expected to lead and execute key programs and projects in collaboration with various functions and departments while supporting programs with analysis, monitoring and on-ground execution.
The day-to-day activities:
Monitor and analyse business metrics
Execute driver programs and campaigns to increase supply availability and productivity
Support operations requirements for new partnerships
Support demand-growth initiatives such as marketing campaigns, promotions
Monitor customer feedback
Conduct on-ground research of drivers & customers
Help launch new product features in collaboration with the tech team
Collaborate extensively with support functions and counterparts in different verticals
Some collaboration with external partners
Propose growth opportunities
General project management and reporting
Minimal travel required (<5%)
The must haves:
Minimally 3-4 years of related experience
Strong academic track record
Demonstrated ability to problem solve
Demonstrated teamwork experience, with strong interpersonal / influencing skills
Ability to adapt to fast-changing, dynamic environments
Well-structured written & spoken communication
Spreadsheets & slide-making (MS Office/ GSuite)
Python, SQL, R is a plus
Entrepreneurial experience is a plus
Preferred degrees: Business or Economics
