Grab’s lending business (GFSA – Grab Financial Services Asia) is a recent addition to Grab’s array of product and service offerings focused on extension of Micro credits to drivers, agents and merchants in Grab’s ecosystem. GFSA team is a combination of strong talent pool in its Regional Hub (Singapore) and deep local market operators across its focus markets. We are incredibly excited about the opportunity ahead of us. GFSA team is responsible for end to end conceptualisation, design, development, execution and ongoing management of all lending activities in its focus markets and segments.
Responsibilities Include:
- To provide accurate and data driven information on a borrowing company’s profitability, solvency, stability and liquidity. The team member is expected to research and analyze financial information of the borrowers for a lending platform and measure their credit risk.
- Consolidating & analyzing borrower’s financial data taking into account borrowers standing and financial goals.
- Analyzing credit risk from borrower financial ratios and cash flow.
- Summarizing data/analysis to meaningful decision reports.
- Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking & process analysis
- Understand and assimilate market trends and credit bureau data for meaningful credit analysis
- Guide & monitor business development team to explore solutions
- Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives
Requirements:
- More than three years proven working experience as a finance analyst/credit analyst/underwriting in bank or financial institution in MSME or Business Banking space.
- Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
- Good presentation, reporting and communication skills
- Having knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
- Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, SQL, Python/R
