This team oversees 4W commercial operations and P&L management, including pricing and marketplace (e.g., rewards, churn management, service assurance)
Tech and Operations (payouts, PMO, tech solutions)
They are hardcore data folks and has good experience with operations and interest in market insights.
Get to know the Role:
Project Management: Can drive different projects to explore business issues/opportunities, uncover insights and/or identify targeted areas for business growth
Stakeholder Management: Able to communicate upwards and across different departments and to provide direction when needed
Data Analysis: Look at w-o-w trends and spot growth gaps. Deep dive on core issues and use our data to find answers. Know how to budget and forecast.
Business Management: Will co-own the overall supply operations of 4W and 3W transport - allocating, incentivizing, and optimizing the whole driver pool.
Create new ways to improve driver behavior and performance
The day-to-day activities:
Data analysis and translation to business strategies
Business development
Need to be able to work with diverse business stakeholders
Liaising with other groups in the business
Go on the ground to understand how customers (PAX and DAX) experience Grab’s services and brings back insights to the team
Business performance tracking
Budget tracking
Business initiative financial modeling
The must haves:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
Good business acumen and burning curiosity about data
Quick learning agility and strong sense of ownership
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Ability to create business cases and models on special projects geared for business growth
Adept at financial forecasting, budgeting, and pricing cause-and-effect simulation
Experience working at/building a startup business preferred
Minimum 12-month work experience in operations, business development, strategy, or operations management (does not include internships)
Preferably one year of experience in project management
Economics, statistics, or business background would be a plus
This is a hands-on role – need to be willing to roll up sleeves
