Get to know the Role:
Maintain, Patch upgrades, migration, Administration, Platform upgrades & other operational aspects of technical collaboration systems (Jira, Confluence, GitLab etc)
Install and configure server software, as well as necessary proxies, mirrors and other peripheral software
Ensuring 24/7 uptime of Atlassian JIRA/Confluence & other technical collaboration platforms by providing primary support for critical issues
Supporting L2/L3 tickets in JIRA/Confluence & other technical collaboration systems
Identify & own newer features development in JIRA/Confluence & technical collaboration systems by customization & Custom plugins.
Create, maintain and customize complex JIRA project configurations including workflows, custom fields, permissions and notifications.
Provide user management and support for 10000+ local and remote users, manage system access across groups to ensure compliance, and maintain best practices.
Create, delete, update Cloud based infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, WAF, Lambda, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch etc).
Deep system administration knowledge (Linux and Windows)·
Diagnose and resolve complex server performance issues.
Create shell scripts and cron jobs.
Manage daily activities to include user support and system administration tasks.
Write complex DB queries joining different tables to extract custom reports.
The must haves:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Proven working experience in installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting JIRA and Confluence
Solid AWS cloud experience
Experience with monitoring and management systems
Solid scripting skills
Solid networking knowledge
Good exposure to Linux OS (Preferably Redhat)
Good exposure to Database (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle)
Strong background in Atlassian Confluence and JIRA technical deployment
Experience in Atlassian Confluence and JIRA technical administration
Ability to use a wide variety of technologies and services
Strong experience with SQL. A working understanding of code and script. Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
Experience working with enterprise systems and processes (e.g. Change Management, Separation of Duties)
