The day-to-day activities:
Responsible for helping to scale the GrabFood business in expansion cities across Southeast Asia.
Design processes to enable rapid business growth across all customer segments. From acquiring new users, to onboarding Merchants, to driver incentives, marketplace management and business development.
Build and ramp up high performing local operations teams in short time frames, as well as setting and tracking strategic OKRs.
Managing City P&L and optimising operational metrics to achieve hyper growth as well as playbooking best practices from across the region.
Manage new product rollouts for city markets as well as generating operational insights for future product development.
Build dashboards for use of city operations teams to help solve business problems
Apply extensive analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with business acumen to identify other opportunities to ensure growth targets are achieved
Work closely with in-country and regional stakeholders within Operations Teams to ensure best practices are shared and executed
Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with start-up/tech, online food delivery, e-commerce, ride sharing or marketplace industries
Past experience of operations and launch in Southeast Asian markets
Highly developed analytical skills, demonstrated through delivering high profile projects at scale
Proven track record working with high performing teams in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Ability to use SQL to query out and manage large datasets
Advanced Excel to build analytics tools and dashboards for business use.
Entrepreneurial & resourcefulness with a good balance of interpersonal skills, fluent in English to communicate clearly with stakeholders
Fluency in at least one Southeast Asian language preferred
Flexibility and willingness to travel across the South East Asia region
Ability to work independently and deal effectively with complex, changing and ambiguous environment
