Get to know the Role:

This regional role takes charge of Marketing Technology API development and lead management analysis across Grab’s business in Transport, Payments, Food and Business. This scope of influence would span across all 8 markets in Southeast Asia. Being an absolute ninja in Python, SQL among other skills. The incumbent will develop APIs, manage the B2B marketing tech stack and own the B2B marketing analysis so as to provide clear marketing insights that will inform marketing strategy and tactics. The incumbent will have the opportunity to influence one of Asia’s largest unicorns in B2B marketing tech and collaborate across multiple Grab tech families. Co-building and aggregating complex marketing platforms / engines that impact the business.

The day-to-day activities:

Functional

  • Ability to work with and manipulate large data sets - you would need to use SQL to query and aggregate the data from multiple data sources for reporting and BI purposes.

  • Provide weekly analysis and actionable insights on marketing performance that impacts the business

  • Automating reports to key stakeholders

  • Build needed APIs across functional platforms

  • Pull data from production to relational DB

  • Pull data from external sources into Grab DB for automating data jobs

  • Build data washmachine and perform regular data normalization and validation functions

  • Automate data pipelines using a scheduler such as Azkaban.

  • Work with SQL on Hadoop solutions such as Presto.

Business Operations

  • Collaborate with B2B Marketing Managers across the region and collate requirements.

  • Support Marketing Automation Managers and tech platform managers on relevant program of work

The must haves:

  • Graduated from a recognized university with a reputable degree in Computer Science or Engineering related degree.

  • Professionally proficient in English and in-country native language.

  • Analytics Competency in SQL

  • Tableau for reporting and BI and Strategic analytics tasks

  • 2-3 years of Python coding experience

  • Hadoop, Presto, Hive

  • 2-3 years of Javascript & HTML coding experience

  • Understands and have prior experience or exposure with CRM or Database management.
