PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
The QC Technician is responsible for performing quality checks and inspections on raw materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products to ensure they meet established standards and customer requirements. The technician supports the production process by identifying defects and initiating corrective actions in line with quality procedures and IPC standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Quality Engineer in use of statistical tools.
- Assist Quality Engineer with Corrective and Preventive Actions.
- Support production with troubleshooting and defect resolution.
- Perform first article inspection, review production instruction, and make updates to production instruction.
- Identify, document, and report non-conformities; assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Perform line and product audits.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: College graduate in Mechatronics, Mechanics, or Electronics.
Experience: At least 1 year experience or fresh graduate in Quality field.
Others:
- Good at communication, problem solving.
- Good understanding of IPC-A-610 and general electronic assembly practices.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, ERP/MES systems).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and customer specifications.
- Team player with good communication and time-management skills.
