Product Quality Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

· Represent MVN Quality Assurance Dept as prime contact on assigned product quality events related to customer quality in Vietnam

· Manage the implementation, follow-up and associated reporting of the undertaken actions

1. MAIN TASKS

Main Task 1: Assurance Quality on Manufacturing Line (40%)

· Ensure compliance with organization’s QMS, applicable aerospace and customers’ requirements

· Assure the product requirements based by customer program

· Perform Customer escape, RPPM, Cost of Poor-Quality reduction on assigned products

· Manage the assigned KPI

· First pass yield

· Improve product quality

Main Task 2: Quality Notification Management (30%)

· Lead problem solving activities on escapes reported by customers and non-conformities raised for event resolution

· Support and liaise with the different Quality Clinics and functions amongst MVN and its customers on non-conformities processing

Main Task 3: Internal & Supplier Audits (20%)

· Perform internal audits (product, system, special processes) or supplier audits to support compliance of MVN as assigned by the quality manager.

· Follow-up actions after audits.

Main Task 4: Product Quality Documentation (10%)

· Perform product and documentation conformity verification in accordance with product requirements for specific customer release programs.

· Validating Inspection reports, ATR when required

· Issuing and signing certificates of conformance.

· Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

2. SCOPE OF RESPONSABILITIES

Rights and authority:

· Authorized as a Quality internal auditor to plan, perform and report internal audits.

· Authorized to issue corrective and preventive actions and ensure their follow-up to closure.

· Authorized to disposition products, tools and activities

· Right to Stop Production and deliveries and to escalate any non-compliance/non-conformance

· Right to sign documents concerning product quality on behalf of MVN Quality Department.

After training, qualification and certification by our customers or authorities:

· Authorized to release products and related documents subject to legal or contractual requirements.

· Empowered to prevent shipment of products if necessary.

· Authorized to represent the Quality department towards specific customers and within the company.

· Authorized to sign and stamp specific certificates/documents issued by customers and authorities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education level required, language skills, specific knowledge

· Engineering/Technical degree in mechanical, electric or electronics...

· Ability to communicate in English (immediate speaking and writing) within. French is a plus.

· Mother tongue Vietnamese

Professional experience / in a specific area

· Min. 3 years experiences in, product quality or quality assurance

· Experience with cross-functional team coordination

· Experience with electronic systems and manufacturing processes

· Trained on Quality basics (7 quality tools, 5 core tools, 8D, product quality requirements, quality system….)

· Trained abroad is a plus
