Job Purpose:
To manage and coordinate product development activities with in-house teams and regional/overseas suppliers. This role ensures timely development, costing, sample approval, and communication flow across global teams to support the company’s sales and customer service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new products in collaboration with internal teams, local suppliers, and overseas vendors.
- Review and verify sample details for accurate costing and development.
- Initiate development requests and monitor sample status with regional suppliers (Pakistan, Indonesia, India, Hong Kong, Vietnam).
- Prepare and maintain an updated list of approved products by category, and circulate it to Global Sales and Customer Service teams.
- Manage costing and sample submissions for approvals; follow up with concerned parties for timely feedback.
- Check, upload, and share updated product layouts to internal systems and relevant departments.
- Provide support and resolve issues arising in bulk production that deviate from approved sample quality.
- Report sample development status and detailed cost breakdowns for each item to the Hong Kong HQ.
- Evaluate and migrate items with local market demand.
- Visit outsource suppliers to oversee and smoothen the sampling process.
- Coordinate closely with Global Teams on various product-related tasks and initiatives.
