Get to know the Role:

Lead the planning, strategizing and execution of co-branding campaigns with merchant partners, both local and global brands, across all of GrabFood’s business.

Plan, coordinate, and execute GrabFood merchant marketing campaigns both inbound and outbound that are aligned with company-wide objectives, as well as budget management and target tracking. The sub-vertical is split into Drivers, Merchants, and Eaters. You will be accountable for the Merchants market under the food business and will have to work closely with business leads for alignment on marketing.

To succeed in this role, you need to be a self-motivated individual who can perform under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You should be able to break down complex issues into executable strategies and detailed tactics.​

The day-to-day activities:

  • Segment the merchant ecosystem into meaningful target audiences and develop custom tailored marketing campaigns to acquire and engage merchants. Test, analyze and scale the most impactful practices.
  • Lead merchants/B2B acquisition campaigns from inception through post campaign analysis and summary reporting.
  • Working closely with business development teams to close partnership deals, being fully responsible for the marketing components of the deal.
  • Overall partner account management
  • Able to work closely and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. ​
  • Work with partners to drive considerable value for our business and drive partnerships that delight our passengers and drivers. ​ ​
  • Support partner negotiation, partner contracts and adherence to operating budget of Marketing Department. ​
  • Work seamlessly with other marketing & business development peers in various departments, to execute full Marchant Marketing plan. ​​
  • Plan and execute creative Go-to-Market initiatives with brand partners.
  • Perform post-mortem in a data-driven manner to justify campaign ROI and share to partners.
  • Oversee development of content and funnel optimization of inbound partnership/merchant leads generation.
  • Ensure budgets are tracked and spent efficiently.

The must haves:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in consumer marketing (either in campaign management, partnerships/brand marketing or marketing communications) with exposure on online and offline media.
  • Experience in business development or consulting role is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communication or other advertising.
  • Charismatic presenter who can sell marketing ideas as the solution to business problems
  • Ability to negotiate and demonstrate clear logical thinking of what can be beneficial in a partnership to our business
  • Good understanding of co-branding and marketing communications.
  • Able to create and articulate creative briefs and business cases.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly in both written and spoken English.
  • Enjoys brainstorming, coming up with creative ideas, seeing it come to life and learning from it.
  • Loves the thrill of being in a fast-paced environment while being able to multi-task to meet deadlines.
