YARDAGE AOP

- Receive ARTWORK, REPEAT LAYOUT from Commercial Dept.

- Obtain fabric width information for AOP from Commercial Dept.

PLACEMENT AOP

- Receive ARTWORK, REPEAT LAYOUT from Commercial Dept.

- Receive both soft and hard copy patterns from the Technical Dept.

- Obtain fabric width information for AOP from Commercial Dept.

- Adjust the artwork (AW) according to the fabric width to make AOP placement, and place print details on the soft file according to the pattern and fabric width as per customer requirements (how many group sizes).

- Provide feedback to Commercial Dept.

- For placement AOP, if issues arise, take photos of AOP layout/ placement on hard patterns and send to Commercial Dept., asking for Customers' approval if required.

- Determine the amount of fabric needed for sampling and position the semi-finished products to maximize fabric savings during both sampling and production.

- For bulk AOP, receive the fabric consumption layout from the Technical department, create the best print layout for most optimal usage.

- Create positioning patterns on hard patterns, bprovide to Cutting team to cut/ trim the semi-finished products.

ARTWORKS ADJUSTING IF REQUIRED.

- Check the Artwork (AW) whether the color test, size, the sharpness is qualified to print or not, how many % that the design can meet the AW and give feedback to Commercial Dept. regarding AW status which can be done, or missing, or need to be add on.

- Extract/select Pantone colors when the customer does not provide them.

- Assist in checking, separating, and adjusting artwork (AW) when requested.

- Design washing label artwork and print/embroidery artwork when requested by the Commercial Depts. or Superiors.

- Develop designs for other artworks when receiving requests from the Commercial Dept., Developemnt Dept., or redraw/scale Customers' missing artworks.

- Work with suppliers on print and embroidery issues.

- Design development artworks/size label artworks, etc., upon request."

- Receive semi-finished products, sign for receipt, update delivery times.

- Collect hard patterns from theTtechnical department.

- Check cutting dockets and follow-up Custoner's comments on mail converation with Commercial Dept. Understand the finished product, handle samples, and manage treatment files for each SKU.

- Cross-check dimensions and actual placement of artwork (AW) compared to the tech packs/treatment file, and verify necessary information on the pattern to proceed with measuring and positioning AW on the pattern (e.g., necessary specifications like shoulder overlap, back panel height, collar height, etc., depending on each semi-finished detail).

- Contact Commercial Dept. regarding arising issues (e.g., specifications, dimensions, incorrect or missing placement information on the tech pack).

- Check and compare positioning with the original sample operation (scan file).

- Design/adjust AW as required. Take photos for confirmation with Commercial Dept. when necessary and wait for confirmation from Customers.

- Print, cut and paste AW onto hard patterns according to the required specifications.

- Record style/ SKU /size/ time of execution. Keep detailed records of the development process, including design changes, feedback received, and final outcomes.

- Double-check and deliver semi-finished products to Outsource Controllers.

- Ensure the quality of samples such as AW, LAYOUT to avoid mistakes in production.

- Support checking first output in bulk production: Re-check artwork, size, color, before mass production to ensure printed photos meeting the clients’ requirements.Save files for checking in case accidents happens.

MARKET RESEARCH AND TREND ANALYSIS:

- Regularly research the latest fashion and embellishment trends through fashion magazines, online trend forecasting services, social media platforms, and trade shows.

- Analyze trend reports from fashion forecasting agencies to understand upcoming trends in embellishments like embroidery, sequins, patches, beadwork, and prints.

- Pay attention to influential fashion designers and brands to see what embellishments they are incorporating into their collections.

DATA COLLECTION:

- Collect data on consumer preferences, market demands, and competitor products. This data can be gathered from sales reports, customer feedback, and market analysis tools.

- Observe what kinds of embellishments are popular in different markets and regions to tailor your products accordingly.

COLLABORATION WITH INNOVATION DEVELOPER:

- Meet with Innovation Developer biannually to discuss trend findings and development strategies.

- Share the collected trend data and market insights with the outsource controller to align on the vision and direction for new embellishment designs.

- Set clear objectives and timelines for the development of new embellishments, ensuring they fit within the overall product line strategy.

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT:

- Work withDevelopment Dept. to create new embellishment concepts based on the latest trends and market data.

- Develop prototypes and samples, and review them with the outsource controller for quality, feasibility, and cost considerations.

- Make necessary adjustments to the designs based on feedback from the Innovation Developer/ Development Dept.

QUALITY CONTROL AND FEEDBACK:

- Implement a quality control process to ensure that the embellishments meet the required standards.

- Collect feedback from customers, sales teams, and retailers on the new embellishments to evaluate their success and make improvements for future development cycles.

DOCUMENTATION AND REPORTING:

- Keep detailed records of the development process, including design changes, feedback received, and final outcomes.

- Report the results of each development cycle to relevant Depts., highlighting successes, challenges, and lessons learned."

Yêu cầu công việc

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in fashion design, with a strong focus on embellishments and a solid portfolio.

- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools; knowledgeable in embellishment techniques (embroidery, print, AOP, heat transfer, beadwork, sequins, etc.) and garment construction & fabrics.

- Creative with a keen eye for detail; strong understanding of fashion trends and consumer preferences.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

- Strong problem-solving skills for design and production challenges.

- English proficiency: verbal and written.

- Personal qualities: young, active, hardworking, responsible, self-confident, self-motivated, adaptable, proactive, open-minded, and strong time management skills.
