At Kudo, we are working towards revolutionizing the way small traditional businesses like neighbourhood mom and pop stores or warungs operate, empowering them with technology to increase their earning potential and ease of doing business. One such initiative from Kudo is to connect manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers with these traditional stores through Kudo’s platform enabling these stores to order their inventory online. We are looking for City Operations Executive who have a high degree of talent, leadership and drive to help setup and take this incredibly challenging but impactful business forward.

As the City Operations Executive, you will be responsible to setup and grow operations in your city. You will be owning the relationship with the supplier as well as logistics partner. You will have to ensure that we excel in our delivery performance with same day / next day SLAs by facilitating strong coordination between supplier and logistics partner.

You will also be responsible for ensuring best in class pricing in your city by keeping a close track on market prices for goods in your city and negotiating the prices with the supplier in a market which is very dynamic.

By doing so, you will be effectively creating the biggest impact on customer satisfaction and hence retention!!

What is expected from you as City Operations Executive:

• Own city operations:

  • Delivery performance

  • Analyze delivery data to identify bottlenecks and address them with creative and practical solutions

  • Propose and drive solutions to bring in operational efficiency

• Own product pricing:

  • Understand the pricing landscape at an SKU level for your city for our focus products

  • Negotiate with the supplier to achieve best in class pricing

  • Help supplier improve his pricing by enabling better procurement for him

• Know the customer

  • Deeply understand customer behaviour, and ensure Kudo offering is beyond satisfactory for customers

• Know the competition

  • Understand the direct and indirect competitors behaviour in your city. Ensure Kudo’s offering stays best in class

Desired background & skills:

• Bachelor degree from a leading university with GPA 3.0 or more

• 2-3 years of experience in operations / business development or similar roles

• Past experience of working in fast paced environment

• Data-driven decision making mentality and strong analytical thinking, along with a creative solutions-driven mindset

• Ability to productively collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders through solid project-management and communication

• Perseverance, grit and leadership to help navigate your team through unforeseen challenges

• Stellar networking skills and the ability to make smart partnerships happen

• Knowledge of retail, consumer goods industry is a plus

• “Your problem is my problem” attitude

• Strong bias for Action and willingness to disrupt status quo
