Job Summary:Responsible for supporting sample builds and new product introductions, optimizing production processes—especially molding—and driving continuous improvement in quality, cost, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up sample and new product plans; provide process and technical support to manufacturing and other departments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve processes to meet targets in safety, quality, cost, and operational excellence.
- Participate in developing new technologies, processes, equipment, and related projects.
- Validate and transfer new processes and equipment to production teams.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain injection molding processes for both new and existing products.
- Lead mold trials, process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ), and coordinate mold design, procurement, and improvement with vendors.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and DOE to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Prepare procedures, work instructions, maintenance and calibration guides.
- Ensure compliance with company standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IPC-A-620, etc.).
- Train production staff and subordinates on new equipment and procedures.
- Monitor subordinate activities (if any) and ensure documentation compliance.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
