Master Card Porfolio Manager, GrabPay VN

The team works with different third party partners where GrabPay VN sees opportunities for partnership synergies to ensure healthy payment ecosystem and use cases for Grab app userscard schemes, key accounts, service providers, etc. In addition, the team also supports and ensures that Grab business verticals (transportation, food, etc.) are well supported when it comes to payment ecosystem. This requires close working relationship with Grab verticals business heads and team and understand the need to improve its payment system.

Get to know the Role:

The role is significant in managing relationship with card schemes and develop programs beneficial to customers, drivers, merchants, and other key players of GrabPay VN users.

The role entails the candidate to have:

• Business owner of Mastercard partnership for GrabPay/ GrabPay prepaid product
• Program and supply chain management for card issuing to direct to consumers, B2B, B2BC, and B2B2E
• The ability to develop the supply chain of card issuing, disbursement, and acceptance and translate to viable programs
• Develop use cases for scheme products and collaborate with marketing to launch and promote
• Develop partnerships and programs with e-commerce, retailers, airlines, establishments (hotels, drugstores, schools, etc.) in collaboration with Merchant Acquisition Team to ensure activation, usage, and retention.
• Develop co-branding programs for partners
• Develop business case for GrabPay MC product

The day-to-day activities:

• Support Regional Mastercard (MC) Business Owner with portfolio management on in-country GrabPay Prepaid

• Support launch of GrabPay prepaid in new markets

• Monitor performance of GrabPay prepaid product

• Manage roadmap of product development for GrabPay Prepaid

• Review and continue to improve product features and CVP

Key requirements:

• Vietnamese speaker with excellent command of English
• At least 5 years work experience in card program and partner management
• Ability to develop card value proposition
• Understands the prepaid issuing system- technical and business
• Ability to develop activation, distribution, and issuance programs
• Ability to work with external partners and negotiate co-marketing campaigns to push use of GrabPay (in collaboration with Marketing)
• Create co-branding strategies and roll-out execution (both online and on-ground)
