Marketplace Associate Manager - Supply Optimization

Marketplace is the growth engine for Grab, functions on both strategy and execution to optimize Marketplace economics. Our team consists of young but experienced individuals who are tenacious and energized with a combination of data analytics, marketing insights, passenger/driver segmentation, market strategy and financial forecast & planning skills. The team has been focusing on growing demand efficiently whilst maintaining a very strong supply to fulfill increasingly sophisticated consumers.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Analyse short to medium term issues impacting supply health in Marketplace. This includes driver segmentation, supply performance optimization, market scans and experimentation

• Scope advanced statistical analyses and predictive modelling in collaboration with the relevant teams

• Design efficient incentive and pricing structures to drive marketplace growth and work with cross-functional teams to execute

• Forecast incentive spend and other supply growth initiatives for weekly, monthly and quarterly planning cycles

• Build presentation to influence senior stakeholders and enable data driven decision making

• Manage budget allocation and track cost from initiatives in collaboration with Finance

• Implement product features for supply optimization, this includes experiment design, result measures and system configuration. 

What we expect:

• A minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Management Consulting, Business Intelligence, Market Research, Investment Banking, Technology firms

• Proven track record of senior stakeholder management

• Confident in processing and analysing complex data sets using Excel

• Working knowledge of SQL and experience with a mobile CLM platform is preferred but not essential

• Quantitative discipline with strong business sense and ability to articulate complex analyses to a wide range of audiences, and translating these to actionable business insights

• Ability to see big picture while not losing sight of details

• A start-up attitude – willing to work hard to get things done

• Language proficiency in English is required
