Get to know our Team:
Grab pioneered the transport ride-hailing landscape, but has now expanded into new businesses, such as GrabFood. GrabFood is now entering a market that is already dominated by other players. The team is tasked to get GrabFood to a level playing field.


Get to know the Role:
This role will oversee the planning, strategizing and execution of building the much loved GrabFood brand and market penetration & growth regionally.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Drive GrabFood marketing strategy: Formulate, develop and execute scalable Go-to-Market strategies and marketing plan regionally to penetrate and grow in each country market. Strategies include acquisition, loyalty and retention of consumers, merchants and delivery partners.
  • Build a loved brand and industry-best customer experience: Plan meaningful brand love campaigns to epitomize brand direction while ensuring customer-first experience in all marketing touch points regionally.
  • Drive ROI: Develop strategies to maximize brand visibility, marketing partnerships and contribute positive bottom line impact via different business levers.
  • Budget management: Effective allocation and review of cost and business impact on marketing activities across all countries.
  • Understand market behaviours: Track consumer and competitive landscape to find relevance and opportunities to improve effectiveness of marketing activities.
  • Reporting: Develop and execute consistent country-by-country post mortem and status reports on key projects.
  • Building Capabilities and Processes: Be internal thought leader in developing food marketer’s capabilities and build efficient and effective process regionally to alleviate marketing and operational pain points.
  • Finance: Ensure budgets are tracked and spent efficiently


The must haves:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in consumer marketing with exposure to online and offline marketing channel execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communication or other advertising
  • Good understanding of food and/or consumer businesses
  • Good understanding of marketing channels and funnels
  • Strategic but more action/execution-oriented.
  • Data-driven and analytical
  • Customer-first mindset: Always think from the customer’s perspective and able to marry marketing ideas to great customer experience/knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly in both written and spoken English.
  • Dare to challenge status quo and drive bold ideas
  • Impeccable organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative spirit and a keen team player
  • Good people skills - Able to manage multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) to meet strict deadlines.
  • Enjoys brainstorming, coming up with creative ideas, seeing it come to life and learning from it.
