Manager, Regional Finance

The day-to-day activities:

• Pivot as Lead for Group Accounting Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
• Familiar with SOX 404 and ability to identify the internal control procedures
• Frame up the Internal Control Structure of the Company as per SOX 404 Compliance
• Ensure the adequacy of Internal accounting Control are in place , operational and effective
• Standardisation and Harmonization of of Accounting Policies across all regional countries
• Implementation and operationalise Group Accounting Policies and drive adoption into in Countries
• Develop policies to ensure compliance with IFRS which will be provided to country entity
• Review and provide feedback on the policies and to obtain validation from local business stakeholders.
• Responsible for ensuring appropriate controls are in place to meet the policies requirements.
• Drafting of accounting policies, consultation with auditors (internal and external) and engagement with relevant authority

The must haves:

• Relevant qualification in business, accounting and/or a related discipline, qualified CPA, CIA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent
• Solid knowledge of internal controls and operational procedures and processes
• High attention to details
• Sound independent judgement; customer focused
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including senior level business and corporate partnering across various countries and cultures
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task
