Get to know the Role:

  • Planning and implementation of marketing strategies and promotional events.
  • Leading the execution of each marketing campaign and activities to ensure flawless brand presence and coordination.
  • Responsible in achieving KPI and target set by Country Marketing Head.


The day-to-day activities:

  • Payments marketing is a new team responsible for growing the GrabPay side of the business, which is a big new initiative for Grab. GrabPay handles all cashless transactions for Grab’s 40m riders and 800,000 drivers and is already one of the largest mobile wallets in Southeast Asia. This is the first GrabPay hire within the Singapore marketing team and this individual will be tasked with growing the GrabPay business as a mobile wallet amongst Singaporeans, making cashless payments safer, more convenient and more rewarding for consumers and merchants on our sunny island
  • Be a founding member of the exciting new payments marketing team, helping to drive forward a critical part of Grab’s overall business.
  • Drive go-to-market strategy for GrabPay’s growth throughout Singapore
  • Manage reporting and analysis across GrabPay campaigns, using data to drive better campaigns through a test and learn approach.
  • Leverage insights around different payments use cases to drive a compelling communications narrative for GrabPay in Singapore.
  • Drive payment partnerships with issuers, banks, credit cards and digital wallets to grow transaction volume on GrabPay
  • Build messaging narratives and acquisition strategies for bringing both consumers and merchants into the GrabPay ecosystem
  • Drive forward the value proposition, positioning and branding for GrabPay as a mobile wallet that is compelling for consumers and merchants alike.
  • Put in place customer-centric and behavioural-based marketing programs that drive frequency and retention for GrabPay users
  • Work with our marketing analytics and consumer research teams to drive further insight into how consumers are using our GrabPay platform.
  • Analyze GrabPay marketing spend efficiency across our 6 markets and make recommendations for future spend allocation.
  • Manage the overall budget for GrabPay marketing in Singapore.
  • Work closely with the regional GrabPay marketing team to develop and follow best practices and new innovations.
  • Work closely with our transport marketing team in Singapore to leverage rides to drive transaction volume and frequency.



The must haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top tier international university
  • Independent thinker who can drive their own vision for a product’s positioning, value proposition and go-to-market strategy
  • All-round marketer who is equally comfortable with analyzing transaction growth as they are judging creative work.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-centric marketer that is looking to drive growth by solving real consumer problems.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience managing largescale commercial partnerships, particularly in the financial or payments sector, is a big plus.
  • 2-3 years’ experience growing a digital wallet and/or payments business with a demonstrated track record for building high frequency transaction volume.
  • Proven experience delivering bottom line results with effective marketing
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing role, particularly wit
