Get to know the Role:

• To develop and implement organisation-wide AI strategy, business engagement and technical operating model

• To play a lead role in engaging business units for

  • Discovering, defining and selecting AI related use cases

  • Scoping, planning and delivering proof-of-concept projects

• To drive and deliver AI related programs and initiatives such as model governance, awareness workshops, training, conferences, and hackathons

• Lead the efforts to operationalize cross-functional AI projects

• Drive and manage internal and external partnerships relating to data, analytics and data science

The day-to-day activities:

• Steer leadership and management teams along with the overall AI strategy

• Drive projects to deliver impact with limited resources under tight timelines, while influencing cross-departmental stakeholders.

• Solve problems creatively and execute impeccably

• Work with Product Managers, Designers, Data Analysts, and Developers to scope, build, test new initiatives.

• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop and launch cross-functional initiatives.

• Travel across Grab’s markets execute experiments.

• Proactively identify, understand trends in the AI universe to help Grab navigate

• Augment the individual country security and safety office in dealing with national regulatory bodies for high-profile cases and issues

The must haves:

• Minimum bachelor degree in analytical disciplines (e.g. mathematics, statistics, engineering or computer science)

• 5 to 8 years working experience in data analytics, AI and machine learning projects with involvement in the following areas

  • Business engagement for opportunity development

  • Hands-on development

  • Project/Engagement management

• Possess good problem solving/decision making, communication and interpersonal skills;

• You are able to disambiguate chaos and framework complex situations to drive clarity and alignment

• You are a compelling storyteller who is adept at communicating concepts and ideas to technical and non-technical folks alike

• You are analytical, and have instincts to drive focus on the needle movers.

• Consulting, pre-sales and/or programme management experiences will be a plus

• Possess good understanding and experience in analytical frameworks and languages such as SQL, R, Python, Hadoop and SPARK

• Well-versed in AI/ML concepts, technologies and applications

• Start Up Experience is a plus
