Get to know the Role:

The Manager, BIS Projects will be accountable for delivery of BIS portfolio from planning to completion. Some of the key responsibilities include:

• working closely with business stakeholders to screen, scope and validate portfolio demands before assigning to the project manager for execution

• negotiating with customers on project priorities and influencing/gaining buy-in from executives sponsors, team members, stakeholders and peers

• defining the right program/project structure and providing on-site leadership to the project team

• building and maintaining relationships with business leaders to establish credibility, consensus and collaboration to achieve desired project objectives

• coaching, mentoring and supervising project team members on emerging technologies, project methods and delivery best practices

• responsible for department's OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)

• strong advocate of Grab principles and leadership traits (Honour, Humility, Hunger and Heart

The must haves:

The Manager, BIS Projects

• has at least 8 years of professional experience in Project Management

• has successfully completed at least 8 large or complex IT projects (average 500 mandays per project)

• has at least 2 years of people management experiences
• demonstrates strong leadership; walk the talk, understand what’s happening, and lead the teams and stakeholders
• demonstrates strong business acumen, commercial and analytical skills to negotiate and influence business stakeholders during portfolio planning and project prioritisation
• demonstrates excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills to develop team members to achieve full potential
• is continuously looks for improvements in processes based on feedbacks
• demonstrates full autonomy to work independently on semi ambiguous projects with some input for senior leaders
• demonstrates experience in supporting contractual, invoicing & commercial management and execution

The good to haves:

• working knowledge of HR, CRM, Finance and Customer Center applications/solutions
• has applicable knowledge of portfolio and project management tools
• demonstrates familiarity with Cloud technologies and/or SaaS deployment projects.
