Manager, Accounting

The day-to-day activities:

- Manage the accounting function of the company, encompassing timely and accurate generation of financial statements, and hands on supervision of general ledger accounts reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with group reporting, local statutory (PSAK) and international (IFRS) accounting standards.  Roll out and implement new accounting standards.
- Conduct overhead analytical review, capital expenditures monitoring, and support cash flow forecasting.  Prepare recommendations to business partner and companies management.
- Lead relevant translation of business requirement to efficient financial process.
- Lead execution of internal, interim and external year end audit processes.
- Support the preparation of statutory and legally required financial reporting by Treasury and Tax functions.
- Main liaison and representatives between internal and external business partners, and Financial Control function.

The must haves:

- Minimum 3 years at Managerial role in Accounting function
- Knowledgeable of PSAK and IFRS rules
- Knowledgeable of tax rules and regulations
- Familiar with banking transactions and instruments
- No specific industry is a must, however, background in transportation is a plus
- Experience in large ERP environment, with Oracle as a plus
- Strong exposure in Business Partnering with business and operations

- Analytical minded and ability to have hands on involvement

- Well composed with good communication skills, and able to well converse in English, verbal and written
