Laboratory Director's Assistant

Descriptions of Job duties:

• Serve as a liaison between laboratory directors and Vietnamese-speaking personnel (laboratory staff, doctors, nurses, vendors, suppliers, clients, etc.) to facilitate seamless communication.
• Translate Vietnamese documents into English and vice versa.
• Accompany laboratory directors during laboratory tours and inspections.
• Ensure the implementation of directives provided to the laboratory by the directors.
• Attend Vietnamese-language trainings with laboratory directors and provide translation assistance.
• Participate in laboratory meetings alongside directors and record meeting minutes.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals to optimize workflow.
• Assist in various administrative tasks assigned by the laboratory directors.
• Generate reports as instructed by the directors.
• Investigate, analyze, and evaluate problems.

Experience and skills requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
• Possess a good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Have previous experience in a medical laboratory, preferably with automated platforms, and knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures.
• Demonstrate 3-5 years of relevant experience operating laboratory across various disciplines, including hematology, clinical chemistry, immunoassay, clinical pathology, special chemistry, microbiology, and molecular.
• Exhibit highly effective interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with colleagues and healthcare professionals.
• Showcase attention to detail, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) is advantageous.
• Possess good experience in using Excel and PowerPoint.
