IT Specialist

1. Provide technical support for all IT activities focusing on software systems, applications and user access management to ensure smooth operation and troubleshooting of company IT assets and user environment.

2. Manage and maintain servers, network equipment (including switches, routers), cloud systems and databases to ensure effective data backup, security patching and performance optimization.

3. Implement and monitor cyber security measures to protect company information assets through the design and enforcement of data protection policies, access controls, encryption standards, secure storage, and incident response protocols.

4. Coordinate and manage IT venders to ensure service quality, cost efficiency and compliance with internal security standards.

5. Plan, research and develop new IT solutions, software tools, and digital services to improve business processes, enhance automation, and strengthen data security.

6. Ensure IT operations comply with Vietnamese regulations and global corporate governance standards.

7. Develop, implement, and monitor IT security policies and procedures in line with Vietnamese regulations (e.g., Cybersecurity law, Data law, Personal Data Protection law) and group-wide governance standards.

8. Propose and advise group companies on compliance requirements, conduct regular IT audits, and coordinate with other teams/departments within the company and its group companies to ensure all IT practices meet statutory obligations.

9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes, proactively update security frameworks and provide guidance and troubleshooting for IT security issues affecting group companies’ daily operations.

10. Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for system access, software licenses and data protection activities.

11. Work closely with Global Headquarters (Japan & Singapore) to implement global IT projects, cybersecurity initiatives and system integration efforts.

12. Provide IT and cybersecurity support to other Idemitsu group companies in Vietnam, promoting unified standards and secure collaboration across the group.

13. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Company in accordance with business needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1.     Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Security, or related fields.

2.     Minimum 5 years’ working experience in IT security (data protection and cyber security), preferably in a multi-company or international corporate environment. Proven experience in IT support is required.

3.     Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance audits and incident response procedures is desirable.

4.     High ability to manage IT network infrastructure and equipment within the server environment.

5.     Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams across multiple companies. Demonstrates teamwork, proactivity and a positive attitude with a forward-thinking mindset to improve business operations through the use of IT and digital technologies.

6.     In-depth understanding of Vietnamese laws and regulations related to data protection, cybersecurity and the IT field.

1. Preferably between 30 and 33 years of age.
2. Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are an advantage.
