Get to know the Role:

  • Inside Sales Team Leader, with supervision, will be responsible for the development, management, and expansion of sales through both an assigned team of inside sales representatives and an account base; functions to assist sales managers improve sales effectiveness of the team specific to a region, product, or industry. Also, is expected to provide value to the customers in the assigned sales territory.


The day-to-day activities:

  • Be a critical part of building GrabFood’s restaurant partnerships
  • Source contact info for high-quality, local restaurants and run a pipeline of prospects
  • Network, cold call, and close new partners to the GrabFood platform
  • Keep abreast of the market and industry situation along with competitor activity as part of feedback and learning
  • Hustle, have fun, and get creative!



The must haves:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (any)

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia (Chinese would be a plus)

  • Years of experience: None - 2 years (Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required)

  • Ability to handle cold calling by being assertive, positive, and persistent

  • Visionary, self-motivated, and laser-focused on exceeding set goals

  • A people person -- you love talking to people and getting them excited
