Get to know the Role:
As GrabFood Head of Sales and Acct. Management, you will be oversee all operations related to partner merchant/restaurant acquisition, onboarding, and post-sales support and engagement. You will own responsibility for the sales team’s deliverables and performance against targets, and work with the GrabFood vertical head to develop the country’s overall Merchant Acquisition strategy for SME partners. ​




The day-to-day activities:

  • ​​Develop the country’s overall sales strategy to enter build new and existing GrabFood merchant/restaurant segments, as aligned with GrabFood’s overall business goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of managers, associates, and executives to set and achieve sales-related targets, and build on these relationships through Account Management initiatives.

  • Monitor the performance of your team and provide leadership and motivation through technical and commercial knowledge, communication transparency, having a healthy competitive mindset, and by acknowledging successes and failures accordingly.

  • Provide training, coaching, and support to your team to increase productivity, develop and build new and existing skill sets, contributing to the team’s ability to delivery results.

  • Identify, build relationships/partnerships with strategic merchants and manage their performance and contribution to building the GrabFood merchant network

  • Design and execute acquisition sales incentive framework as needed

  • Keep abreast of the market and industry situation and competitor activity in order to revise and develop strategies to meet market changes and merchants’ requirements;

  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of all products and services GrabFood offers.

  • Work with other teams within Grab to align on strategies that benefit Grab as a whole.






The must haves:

  • ​University graduate or higher education in business or relevant fields
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in sales with a successful track record and strong ability to develop winning teams; People management experience is a must

  • F&B or FMCG industry background is advantage

  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English

  • Microsoft Office skills are required (MS. Excel, MS. Word and MS. Powerpoint); Salesforce experience is a bonus

  • Energetic, enthusiastic and calm even in very dynamic and fast pace working condition

  • Excellent time management and communication skills with excellent leadership skills
