Part of the Leadership team for GrabFood Indonesia, which supports overall operational and business activities for the rapidly growing GrabFood business, across all cities in Indonesia
Leads team which works closely with GrabFood leadership team, to design, build, implement and improve operational processes that support and strengthen the business
Get to know the Role:
Responsible for planning, leading and execution of Strategic Central Operations team to support all GrabFood activities across Indonesia.
Hire, lead and enable a high-growth team to deliver on operational goals - to take on and solve high priority operational challenges and drive continuous improvement and growth
Establish team goals and work with direct reports on strategies for executing, measuring progress and sharing results. Also, provide mentor-ship, guidance and career development to members of the team
Identifying areas for improvement and leading the central operations strategies for GrabFood Indonesia
The day-to-day activities:
Functional
Leading Restaurant Operations, Product Operations, Eater Operations, Strategic Projects and Analytics work streams for GrabFood Indonesia
Setting clear mission to each of the work streams and deploy strategies and provide guidance to ensure business goals are achieved
Represent Indonesia market interests when working with product and other HQ central departments to ensure the Indonesia market needs are catered for, and coordinate on upcoming changes to product, processes and strategy
People
Coaching and leading team - working with the work stream leads and their team to give them guidance and direction
The must haves:
Bachelor (and/or) degree and fluent in Bahasa and English
Must be able to use Excel and be comfortable analyzing large data sets
People management
Minimum of 6-8 years experience with start-up/tech, operations, e-commerce, marketing or management consulting background including experience managing teams
Able to propose/ make key decisions or provide solid recommendations based on data & analytical thinking and insights
Able to prioritize, make constant and quick decisions and also willing to go into the detail to solve operational problems
Ability to set direction for the team and manage and deal effectively with complex, fast-paced, changing and ambiguous environment
Ability to communicate clearly and work closely with different stakeholders
Entrepreneurial & resourceful – able to put on different hats; goal is to achieve targets with a “can-do” attitude
