Get to know the team:

Day to day activities:

  • Contact potential merchants within area/region to introduce GrabPay products and services;
  • Handle the entire range of sales & acquisition activities,
  • Build long term relationship with strategic key merchants who demonstrate importance for the company;
  • Identify opportunities as well as providing key initiatives to build sales strategy;
  • Align with the business’ overall sales strategy and develop medium to long term strategic plans and tactics for the area/region to achieve target;
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of all products and services GrabPay offer.
  • In charge of developing and optimizing end to end process for merchant onboarding, approval and educate merchants on new features deployed.
  • Work closely with customer support, finance and product department to solve issues and refund request.
  • Develop merchant retention strategy and maintain net promoter score to position GrabPay as the preferred payment method for merchants.
  • Manage operation cost, delivery of marketing collateral and ad-hoc project together with marketing.

The must have:

  • Minimum 12+ years of work experience with 10 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong integrity and understanding of professionalism and code of conduct;
  • Strong management skills to manage a growing team;
  • Able to work in dynamic and fast paced environment and to meet critical deadlines;
  • Able to work with multi-functional teams;
  • Able to multi-task and result oriented
  • Experienced and skilled in areas such as process development as well as workforce management and reporting are highly desirable.

  • Successfully designed, executed and continuously improved on processes, SOPs and ad-hoc projects.

  • Analytical and process oriented; ability to problem-solve.

  • Managerial experience in a customer-centric environment in the service industry (Telecommunication, financial institutions, tech start-ups and consulting).
