We’re looking for a leader for one of our newest businesses, Kitchen by GrabFood. You will launch new cloud kitchens to accelerate the growth and improve the service and efficiency of our GrabFood food delivery business across Indonesia.
In this role you will build and scale a team that expands our existing food delivery business into cloud (or central) kitchens. These kitchens will primarily serve the delivery market (with no front of the house), and will consist of multiple restaurant brands, all operating from the same location. This requires identifying suitable kitchen sites, careful cuisine and restaurant selection based on data, and partnering with restaurants to ensure their success through high quality cuisine & service, joint demand generation and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Do
Serve as Head of Kitchen by GrabFood (ID), which means owning the P&L and growth targets
Refine and execute a go-to-market strategy to scale out Kitchen by GrabFood across Indonesia
Own the weekly performance of the business including deliveries volume but also quality of service
Manage and improve each kitchen site’s efficiency and costs
Work with restaurant partners to ensure a high quality of cuisine standards and kitchen performance
Partner with the GrabFood team to ensure high quality of service and delivery efficiency
Partner with the product organization to prioritize product features that enable us to grow even faster
Travel across SEA expected
About You
You are a problem solver at core, with a strong bias for action
You like rolling up your sleeves as much as you like the big picture
You’re comfortable with a fast pace; we move quick and are defining an entire industry
You thrive in a cross-functional environment, particularly with product, sales, and marketing
You’ve taken a business to scale as a GM or P&L head
Qualifications
10+ years of management experience, including 3+ as a GM or P&L head with a QSR/ F&B or hospitality company
Experience in property acquisition / development is a plus
An exceptional track record of driving growth and taking concepts to market
Proven success working in cross-functional teams (e.g., with product, marketing, and sales) to build creative solutions
Management consulting or other analytically heavy experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
Passion for food and a desire to join one of the world’s largest and fastest growing tech company
