Get to know the Role:
The Merchant Management Strategy is a great opportunity to grow our business together with our merchant partners. As merchant management strategist, you will own relationships with partners. You may work directly with the merchant acquisition team for pitching & negotiations stage. Onboardings, maintaining relationships, and all the way through optimizing and improving delivery operations and delivery orders performance will be your responsibility.
The day-to-day activities:
Responsible for Business Development strategy and engagement programs to maintain merchant and non merchant supply & improve merchant and non merchant relationship
Market map and prioritize a target list based on overall Grab Food objectives
Take ownership of the sales and partnership (Merchant and Non Merchant) management of Grab Food
Manage, coach and lead different functions within Business Development team and ensure the team can achieve their targets
Coordinate with different functions (Country BD, Transport, Marketing, Business Analytics, etc) within the Company to ensure alignment and coherence across business units
Responsible for monitor end to end deal making/ deal closing both for Merchant and Non Merchant
Responsible for developing strong relationships with National key partners that fit into our go-to-market strategy
Responsible for evaluating strategic and partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses
Responsible for oversee process of plan, manage, and monitor the result of partnership event
The must haves:
Bachelor (or above) degree in Business/ Management or equivalent
An exceptional track record in driving revenue growth
At least 8 years' experience in Business Development
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
Experience in dealing and supporting senior level management
Strong analytical and planning skills
Ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying partner needs
Excellent problem-solving skills
Having experience in accounts management, partnership, and alliances
Great interpersonal skills and negotiation power
