Get to know the Role:
As a GrabFood Merchant Operations Assistant Manager, your high-quality delivery is vital to Grab and our partner community. You will be closely involved in the set up of Grab’s merchant operations Every ‘Grabber’ is equally important and has the ability to directly impact Grab’s success. You will working across different teams to out-serve Grab’s merchant partners.
The day-to-day activities:
- Managing the Merchant onboarding and maintenance processes
- Establish new processes for ad-hoc projects and identify areas of improvement
- Communicate clearly and effectively and maintain great relationships with restaurant partners.
- Act as the voice of restaurant partners and feedback account grievances and drive change in cases where it is necessary
- Work closely with various stakeholders departments to manage enquiries
- Maintain good relationship with merchant community
- Continuous improvement of operational processes
- Weekends and shift work may be necessary
The must haves:
- Able to work in fast paced environment, self motivated and display good team spirit
- At least 4 - 5 years’ working experience in managing operations and processes
- Demonstrate integrity and professionalism, with a customer centric and data driven decision-making mindset
- Good written & spoken English
- Good interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and meticulous;
- Comfortable to work with different function units in the organization and external stakeholders
- Well versed with Excel formulas and functions e.g.: data lookup function, IF conditional function, pivot table, etc. will be and advantage
