Get to know the role:
The GrabFood Driver team strategises and plans all supply-related activities that support the GrabFood business in Singapore. Our scope encompasses the entire journey of the GrabFood Delivery Partner starting with recruitment, onto on-boarding and subsequent engagement. In addition, we also regularly manage other growth initiatives not tied to Delivery Partners per se, so there is considerable range to the work you could potentially do.
For this Driver Operations Assistant Manager position, we are looking for a sharp, hungry go-getter who can think critically under pressure. This individual shouldn’t be afraid to make decisions under difficult circumstances and follow through on execution. Day-to-day Activities:
Lead the continual optimisation of existing operational processes and draft new ones to accommodate changes to our business and/or supply-side initiatives.
Proactively track the health of key metrics that reflect operational performance and manage activities that contribute to them.
Derive insight from critical analyses performed by the team, and use said insight to drive improvements in supply-side operations.
Lead collaborations with teammates within Grab on company-wide projects that tie back to GrabFood business objectives.
Supervise the execution of ad-hoc initiatives on short notice and under intense pressure.
Manage the day-to-day activities of temporary contractors employed by the team
Must Haves:
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university.
Minimum 6 years of experience in any of these fields: Operations, Customer Engagement, Process Optimisation, Management Consulting.
Prior work experience in a Tech company highly preferable.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Strong Microsoft Office skills required (Excel, Powerpoint)
