This role will be to ensure smooth operations of the GDC in Kuantan.
Working in a fast-paced environment, the coordinator demonstrates ownership to uphold Grab’s image in the community.
To perform tasks related to the driver engagement cycle: acquiring new drivers, ensuring drivers are well trained & knowledgeable about Grab’s services, and supporting any concerns from drivers.
To create workflow to handle driver enquiries related to payment, user trust, and activation.
The day-to-day activities:
Making sure safety of the GDC environment is always a top priority.
Ensure that the GDC is kept tidy and all systems (AC, AV) are in working order.
Ensure all GDC staff adhere to SOP pertaining to driver activation.
Conduct trainings for new drivers. Ensure training materials are up-to- date.
Manage the recruitment email to ensure all emails are replied to promptly, and driver concerns are addressed.
Monitoring of the queue system, reducing waiting time and improving visitors’ experience.
To drivers: Handle escalated driver issues calmly and professionally, ensuring any outstanding issues are resolved in a timely manner.
To passengers: Assist on face-to- face interactions when necessary.
Familiar with driver payment scheme set up by the City Managers.
Work hand in hand with Driver Acquisition/Retention Specialists to ensure driver activation targets are met.
Work closely with GDC Teams in other cities.
Work closely with functional departments (payments dispute / DLR / UT etc).
The must haves:
Diploma/Degree.
Able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Keeping things organized using IT tools (how do you do that?)
Demonstrated the ability to coordinate and send instructions to a large group of people (let us know why you had to do this)
Prior role in supervising a team, or conducting training (tell us what you enjoyed the most)
