Get to know the Role:

As a leader in an exciting and dynamic industry that is evolving daily, we are seeking a talented Office Manager to join our team. You will specialize in maintaining a world-class culture and office environment through effective communication, integrity, organization and forward thinking. You manage, organize and communicate at all levels to make sure our employees have everything they need. You should drive enjoyment from helping our office run smoothly and our teams run effectively.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Participate and coordinate strategic and tactical planning in the areas of office space, costs and administrative support (including but not limited to contracts, facilities, insurance, hardware, equipment, maintenance, emergency preparedness, etc)

  • Order and facilitate office supplies

  • Order and facilitate food and beverage orders and pantry stocking

  • Oversee office support for day to day systems and onboarding of new teammates

  • Coordinate scheduling (including but not limited to team events, office wide events, travel arrangements, etc)

  • Maintain seating plan and space allocation in all offices

  • Ensure all offices are well maintained including the cleanliness of the space, office furniture, fixtures and equipment

  • Manage guest reception, parking related matters, and key entry management

  • Work with engineering teams and business leaders to create an office that mirrors our core values while creating an inviting place to work

  • Engage in office capacity plans as we grow

The must haves:

  • 4+ years of experience managing an engineering office

  • Strong understanding of facilities, new employee onboarding and general IT systems needed to run an engineering office

  • Experience managing multiple projects at one time while having a history of successful delivery for our employees

  • Possess excellent communication at all levels

  • Experience with facilities management including leases, vendor management and office moves etc.

  • Able to think critically of our current office systems in terms of office growth and stability
