Get to know our Team:
The Regional People Engagement & Employer Branding (PEEB) Team is part of a larger dynamic People Operations team. This team is responsible for the strategy, planning and operationalisation of regional engagement and employer branding efforts. We are a dynamic team with people from diverse backgrounds, including recruiting, marketing, communications and architecture.

Get to know the Role:
The Employer Brand & Engagement Manager is a key member to lead the team to fulfil the vision of building a strong employer brand at Grab through strong employee engagement. An excellent candidate would be someone who can see the big picture of how a good employer brand looks like, and how people engagement can play a part to build this vision.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Serve as a key member of the People Engagement & Employer Brand team to chart the strategy and direction for the team
  • Design and execute a creative strategy for Grab’s corporate LinkedIn and Glassdoor accounts to build up and sustain Grab’s employer brand to engage jobseekers
  • Set up and measure metrics to track the success of internal and external employer brand campaigns
  • Assess the ROI of hosting, attending or sponsoring events, and awards that will raise Grab’s profile as an employer, working with stakeholders from the business and various teams within the larger People Operations team
  • Build up the content strategy for Grab’s careers site and blog to ensure a steady stream of content, through written, pictorial or video formats
  • Engage and grow a talent community through the Beamery talent management system through events and campaigns
  • Work with Grab’s regional brand team on bringing alive external brand campaigns within Grab to our employees
  • Support the larger Talent Acquisition and People Operations team on projects that help the company scale and engage stakeholders
  • Grow and empower a team of 3 to 4 to deliver a good experience for internal and external customers (employees and talent pool)


The must haves:

  • Minimum 5 – 7 years in either Marketing, Communications or related fields
  • At least 1 – 2 years of experience managing a team, or strong proven record of being a strong individual contributor
  • Must have a good knowledge of marketing campaign tactics
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Competency in developing and executing a strong content and brand strategy across multiple online/offline platforms
  • Experience working in a start-up environment is preferred
  • Proven record of the ability to drive results in a team under tight timelines
  • Good knowledge of the talent landscape, especially in Southeast Asia, India, US and China
  • Regional language proficiency is a plus (e.g. Mandarin, or any SEA languages)
