Get to know our Team:
The Communications team is a strategic partner and solution provider to the multiple business functions in Grab – to help them drive their business objectives.
The team ensures that internal stakeholders and drivers understand and support Grab’s vision and business strategy, including corporate partnerships, new products, partner programmes, marketing campaigns and internal programmes.
Get to know the Role:
Responsible for telling the Grab story amongst drivers. Whether it's speaking via app or social media, the Communications team is the voice of Grab.
The day-to-day activities:
Create, implement and manage written content of programs that are in line with company’s vision and business objectives
Serve as an effective filter for the various business units in helping to determine the credibility, defensibly and news value of Grab messages
Manage a full team according to budget and business requirements
Proactively promote stories and other publicity opportunities to drivers that are advantageous to Grab
Create content such as messages to drivers, program initiations, new features and campaign wordings
Field and prioritize requests
Effectively manage the response to incidents, issues or crisis situations, and manage programs to mitigate negative impacts of incidents affecting Grab Drivers by sending online messages
Analyse metrics to determine the output and value of communication results and use the data as a critical planning tool
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Grab business stakeholders and management
Drive regular planning and reporting meetings with key stakeholders
Provide communications counsel and training to relevant PIC
Identify areas for drivers’ KPI Improvement
Design program/projects to win back/reward/retain drivers
Evaluate program results and optimize as needed
Lead ad-hoc projects and initiatives that bring about change or improvement to drivers’ performance
The must haves:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably majoring in Marketing Communication.
Having 2-3 years of experience in related field
Required: Consumer marketing, copywriting skills, lifestyle writing, reporting and analyzing skills
Good-to-have: social media, integrated marketing
Excellent command of Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken)
Experience in communication; skilled in writing and arranging words
Consumer technology sector experience preferred
Experience working in a regional or global team
Experience working in a fast-growth company
