We’re guardians of the Grab positioning and voice and are also responsible for campaigns / initiatives that build a consistent yet locally relevant brand regionally.
Get to know the Role:
Responsible for growing consumer and driver love for the Grab brand.
Responsible for increasing brand awareness, consideration, preference / loyalty all with a view to making the Grab business more price inelastic and adding margins to the bottom line through scalable brand marketing programs
Turn Grab’s vision, mission and principles into a brand that consumers and passengers understand and form an emotional attachment with.
The day-to-day activities:
Lead the Area Marketing Team, reports to Country Marketing Director.
Strong Results-oriented and data-driven: Consistent use of market research to make data-informed decisions for marketing plans covering all area & vertical levels in order to be aligned with country plan.
Excellent presentation skills (both verbal and material) to manage/convince/influence stakeholders
Proven track record of utilizing data in forming innovative and interesting ideas that is successfully operationalised into impactful marketing campaign executions.
Grow and provide leadership to all Area Marketing Team and Comms Team to ensure parallel understanding and achievement of key objectives
Highly meticulous in managing budgets across all areas & verticals
Plan and track target & OKR by area & vertical level.
Strong Stakeholder Management with Country Ops & Regional Team.
The must haves:
Proven track record in scaling businesses and being directly accountable for revenue and growth
Comfortable and savvy in gathering, compiling, analyzing and understanding the data
Proven track record in translating data insights into actions
From a startup environment therefore familiar with and comfortable working in a unstructured and dynamic environment
Strong leadership and good attitude as team player
Graduated from a recognized university with a reputable degree in Marketing, E-commerce or Business.
Professionally proficient in English and in-country native language.
Have used Tableau previously and very proficient in Excel spreadsheet
