Your role as Operations Lead (MY) will be to work closely with commercial and credit risk, both country and regional level to deliver our key services i.e. digital lending to clients.
Key areas of involvement :
1) Disbursal
- Your output will be contributed directly to the overall country disbursement targets, as you will be involved heavily in the exploration of new commercial product opportunities in the market.
2) Operations
- Setting up and managing workflow of the country’s lending process, including but not limited to developing on-boarding of new customers (from all segments), key documents, management information systems (MIS), business reporting etc.
- You will also be expected to provide data backed insights on business operations and liaise closely with regional tech and product team within Grab Financials, as part of continual improvement process (CIP). -
- Lead in-country technology / digital implementations like RPA, and FinTech related solutions - Drive in-country coherence through knowledge sharing, creating metrics and track performance of each segment
3) Risk
- You will work very closely with both regional Risk team and Compliance to ensure that in-country operational risks are always kept in check. -
- As part of the commercial team, you will also be working closely with Risk team on both BAU and new product launches on a day-to-day basis.
Requirements:
- A recognised Degree qualification, preferably in fields related to Banking/ Business and Finance/ Economics/ Computer Science/ Engineering / Operations Management, and strong MS Office skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and analytical skills, with minimum 6 years experience in project management / operations excellence roles.
- Preferred but not required, prior experience in eCommerce, Technology or Financial Services industry such as Retail Banks, Corporate / Institutional Banks, Insurance
- Ability to make key business decisions or provide solid recommendations based on data & analytical thinking as well as plan, design and implement viable operation processes independently or within team environment
- Firm understanding of the local financial regulatory environment, compliance and customer due diligence process
