The day-to-day activities:
The Commercial Manager is responsible for hirer acquisition & retention through strategic outreach & cost efficient initiatives to improve hirer experience.
Applicants must demonstrate exemplary project & team management,, market research, and typically marketing skills.
Specifically, the role will oversee marketing and driver performance efforts of the business by using analytics and insights gathered from data.
This role requires a good balance of interpersonal and analytical skills to derive deeper understanding of driver psychology, behaviour patterns and commercial trends.
The Commercial Manager is a people-person skilled at satisfying customers, managing large teams with keen business sense.
Develop pricing and marketing strategy, translating it into campaigns and oversee execution to improve branding and sales.
Develop and implement driving performance and monitoring strategies to improve productivity, brand loyalty and lifetime value of hirers.
Drive the data insights by working with the Insights team to build a framework to derive understanding of drivers, market trends and use that information effectively.
Oversee and groom a team of driver performance associates in ensuring a high standard of customer service is delivered to drivers.
Manage relationship with the data insights team.
The must haves:
Degree Holder
Fluent in written and spoken English
At least 7 years’ experience in similar commercial role
Proficiency in MS Office, analytics/database-related software/skills
Team leader with experience handling multiple teams of at least 5 members each.
Familiar with running market research and translating that into marketing campaigns.
One who is willing to be hands-on as needed and proactively assume responsibilities for one’s actions.
Ability to work independently and deal effectively with complex, changing, and ambiguous environments.
Able to initiate and maintain strong relationships with customers.
