Business Development Manager, GrabShuttle

The day-to-day activities:

  • Source, build and close leads in a pipeline of enterprise customers for the GrabShuttle and GrabCoach services in Singapore
  • Build target lists and pitching materials for potential partners, attending prospecting meetings, and following up for collaborative projects;
  • Support and act as a sounding board to the Head, Vertical business to drive overall market strategy;
  • Work in a highly fluid environment with iterations in the business models
  • Demonstrate strong track record in project management, and managing internal/external stakeholders locally and regionally;
  • Incubate new initiatives to grow our existing business and to drive product adoption;
  • Be extremely organized, and bring a high level of attention to detail and efficiency while working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously.


The must haves:

  • 5+ years’ experience of business development/partnerships experience in Singapore;
  • Deep experience with establishing, maintaining and leveraging mid or C-level relationships in the travel and hospitality sectors;
  • Not be averse to cold calling new partners;
  • Demonstrated ability to project manage and work effectively across internal and external organizations;
  • Ability to fuse business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals;
  • Possess management experience of leading a team;
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills;
  • Critical thinking and comfort in handling data and numbers;
  • MBA from a top-ranked university highly preferable;
  • Local language proficiencies a plus e.g. Mandarin;
  • Relevant BA/BS/BEng degree.
