Our objectives as a team:
- Generate, lead and manage partnerships, special projects and new businesses to primarily help Malaysia Operations achieve its business objectives.
- To secondarily support Regional BD in a similar capacity.
- Support Head of Business Development (MY) in managing the team.

The day-to-day activities:
- Independently generate leads for partnerships, and sometimes a sales pipeline.
- Structure deals and business cases using data analysis and business modelling.
- Manage partnership relationships, including effectively navigating partners’ organisational structures.
- Independently design data-driven and analytical strategy and solutions to business problems. Independently manage a project and project team.
- Implement and manage work processes and procedures.
- Independently and amiably handle partnership disputes.
- Conduct business negotiations and presentations with partners anywhere along an organisation’s hierarchy.
- Manage and track the team’s budgets effectively.
- Expenditure forecasting.
- Manage and track professional and personal development goals of direct reports.
- Independently conduct one-on-one performance review with direct reports.
- Mentor and coach direct reports to achieve better performance.
The must haves:
- At least a University degree with 5 - 6 years full-time working experience in Business Development/ Partnerships/ Account management/ Client management/ project management.
- Business modelling on Excel Data Analysis, including using Pivot Tables, on Excel Design effective PowerPoint presentations
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Prior experience in consulting/ problem solving and strategy design preferred.
- Prior start-up experience preferred
