Business Automation Specialist

Get to know the Role:

• Always look for opportunities to automate processes or create a streamlined and optimized automated workflow.

• Educate key stakeholders on benefits of an integrated business process across business functions and departments.

• Constantly engage the business users and processes to understand their needs, challenges and limitations.

• Responsible for developing and implementing solutions, and evaluate the result with the users.

• Have the ability to design and develop automation solutions using tools including but not limited to Python, VBA, C++, JavaScript,and MySQL will be the main requirements for this role. Excellent agile development and prioritization skills will be very helpful to excel in this role.

The day-to-day activities:

• Collaborate with the Operations team to understand and distill user requirements to develop automation robots to perform manual repetitive tasks.

• Conduct User Interview, gather Robotics Process Automation (RPA) requirements.

• Design and implement software robotics and process automation.

• Conduct post-implementation User Testing, gather feedback and roll out software updates governed by clear documentation and git-style version control.

• Analyse, document and reengineer business processes in scope for automation and robotics.

• Cultivate the knowledge base for robotics and process automation and prepare to lead the growth of capabilities in this area.

The must haves:

• Hands on experience on RPA tools and Cognitive platforms such as (e.g. UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism Redwood, Open Span, WorkFusion etc.).

• At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in programming (including scripting /coding), SQL and relational databases, and application development.

• Experience in any of the programming languages like C/C++, Python, VB Script, Ruby, Java, JS, .Net.

• Experience with tools like NICE, Nuance, OCR tools, Enterprise Systems SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Custom Apps, ITSM Tools Service Now, BMC Remedy, Jira etc., automation platforms/ frameworks/ tools.

• Experience with Process Analysis, Design, and Implementation, Business and Technical requirements, Problem-Solving, and System(s) Testing, including UAT and Bug fixes.

• Accredited certification in 1 or more RPA platform (e.g. Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPATH etc.) is a plus.
