Business Automation Specialist

Business Improvement & Automation team is responsible for evangelizing process re-engineering, lean & six sigma methodology, and workflow automation within Singapore Operations in order to provide the efficiency leverage for the business to grow sustainably. We operate on a project basis starting with building a business case, requirement scoping, facilitating improvement workshops and developing automation and process re-engineering solutions.

Get to know the role:
As a Business Automation Specialist you will be responsible for identifying potential areas for robotic process automation, develop and implement solutions, and evaluate the result with the users. Have the ability to design and develop automation solutions using tools including but not limited to Python, JavaScript,and MySQL will be the main requirements for this role. Excellent agile development and prioritization skills will be very helpful to excel in this role.

The day-to-day activities:
You will collaborate with Business Improvement Analyst to understand and distill the user requirements to develop automation robots to perform manual repetitive tasks.

• Conduct User Interview, gather Robotics Process Automation (RPA) requirements

• Designing and implementing software robotics and process automation

• Conduct post-implementation User Testing, gather feedback and roll out software updates governed by clear documentation and git-style version control

• Analysing, documenting and reengineering business processes in scope for automation and robotics

• Cultivate the knowledge base for robotics and process automation and prepare to lead the growth of capabilities in this area

The must haves:

• Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience, with a minimum 1 year of relevant Python experience

• Experience in business process management and business process reengineering

• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript is a must (1+ years)

• Familiarity with web technology stack including HTML, Python, CSS selector, cookies, middleware, and data extraction from SQL

• Understanding of code versioning and associated tools (e.g. GitHub, BitBucket)

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
