Business Improvement Analyst

Get to know our Team:

Business Improvement & Automation team is responsible for evangelizing process re-engineering, lean & six sigma methodology, and process automation within Singapore Operations in order to provide the efficiency leverage for the business to grow sustainably. We operate on a project basis starting with building a business case, requirement scoping, facilitating improvement workshops and developing automation and process re-engineering solutions.

Get to know the role:

As a Business Improvement Analyst you will be responsible for identifying potential improvement areas, provide solutions, implement, and evaluate the result. Have immersive understanding of the business process and the ability to generate functional solutions will be the main requirements for this role. Excellent workshop facilitation for cross-functional team and presentation skills are a must for this role.

The day-to-day activities:

You will facilitate improvement workshops for process re-engineering and collaborate closely with Business Automation Specialist:

• You will develop a project charter and build a justification for a business case to gather buy-ins from stakeholders
• You will build hypothesis and collect facts to identify pain points/issues/bottlenecks through data analysis, observation, interviews, and time study
• You will propose potential solutions and lead the implementation with business owners or users. Main objectives are to improve customer NPS and Operational Efficiency through improvement in speed, quality, and cost efficiency
• You will run improvement initiative involving a cross-function workshop based on project charter
• You will define and maintain operating model (process flow, organization, KPIs)
• You will improve internal team and our customers (driver & passenger) productivity
• You will work within operations department and potentially other departments within Singapore as to improve operational efficiency
• You will perform cost efficiency and risk reduction type of projects

The must haves:

• An Undergraduate Degree in Engineering or Business disciplines
• Certification in Six Sigma, LEAN, Agile, PMP practices
• 2+ years experience in business process modelling, operating model design, or business improvement
• Good communication and presentation skill
• Good in data analysis
• Advance in excel, powerpoint, and visio
• Experience in VBA macro is a plus
• Have basic knowledge in finance
