We incubate new businesses for Grab and partner / invest in dynamic tech startups globally that have solutions to Southeast Asia's most pressing challenges. We are seeking a passionate individual to help us drive the investments side of the house!

Get to know the Role:

We are hiring for an Investment Associate position to join our growing team in Jakarta, Indonesia. You will be part of a fast-moving and collaborative team with exposure to a broad range of startups across different stages and sectors.

The day-to-day activities:

• Conduct market research and diligence across multiple sectors in Indonesia; develop market landscape assessments and gather market intelligence

• Manage deal flow; evaluate a pipeline of potential investment targets;

• Meet founders and assess capabilities and fit

• Attend regional and industry conferences to stay up to date on emerging data

• Support investment decisions by building financial/valuation models and cap tables

• Develop investment business case materials for relevant stakeholders

The must haves:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance, consulting or PE/VC/M&A space
• Experience and comfort working in fast-pace and ambiguous environments
• Independent self-starter who can structure their work and execute quickly
• Strong and proven analytical, problem solving, and business decision making abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Existing VC/PE network in Indonesia is highly preferred (but not required)
• Bahasa (and some degree of comfort with Mandarin) preferred
