(Associate) Director/ Head of Qualitative Vietnam
1. Technical and Methodology experience and requirement:
Ideally, 7-8 years managing qualitative projects from beginning to end, that include:
- Working alongside the Client Service team to scope and refine clients qualitative research objectives
- Writing and aggregating interview guides that effectively translate and balance individual client objectives
- Collaborating with the Outreach team to ensure we are sourcing sufficient quality interviews to answer client questions
- Developing a process for (and then overseeing) scheduling, execution, and processing of interviews while in the field
- Conducting interviews, as needed
- Monitoring and continuously adjusting the process to ensure we are tracking toward our qualitative research goals
- Training and coaching Analysts to effectively conduct in-depth research interviews.
- Developing new research methods and processes to innovate on the qualitative research process to best meet client needs.
- Basic experience running FGD's, Ethnography, Senior IDI's and ideal if the candidate has online qual/community research experience.
2. Commercial Experience and requirements:
- Revenue: Managing around US$ 1.5 million dollars of business.
- Accountable for specified client targets (financial / Key Performance Indicators)
- Extensive client relationship development and Key client contact on complex projects
- Responsible for performance management of direct reports and Involved in the recruitment of staff
- Oversee supplier (internal & external) relationships to ensure the quality of deliverable.
- Support a learning culture through the development of junior team members and Source of knowledge on industry developments and the Nielsen offers.
- Team Size: Up to 15 resources, that include a mix of senior managers, managers and executives.
