Get to know the Role:
- Evaluates suppliers based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selection variety.
- Required to liaise, closely monitor and follow up with all purchasing activities including delivery schedules, to meet the required date.
- Conducts product pricing analysis from time to time and actively participate in pricing negotiations with vendors.
- Handles and manages the Procurement process with professionalism.
The day-to-day activities:
- Responsible for the full spectrum of procurement process such as sourcing supplier, ordering, planning & coordinating in any procurement activities.
- Specialized in Marketing sourcing
- Development of vendors in a localization program and monitoring its progress.
- Identify the potential vendors and establish the suitable relationship with vendors.
- Vendor selection and evaluation.
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance buyer-supplier power
- Price negotiation & Cost down activities.
- Prepare and monitor of procurement budget.
- Involved in inventory planning and production planning.
- Assist in the preparation of tenders and maintenance of legal documentation.
- Ensure amount ordered meets the demand.
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.
The must haves:
- Degree in any Supply Chain, Business Management discipline or any relevance study.
- Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Power Point)
Good Communication in English
Experienced in Marketing sourcing, Negotiation and sourcing, Logistics
Highly motivated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Possesses initiative, resourceful and proactive attitude.
